2. The DuoCommander app

DuoCommander runs entirely on your Mac. The app makes no connection to the internet, sends no data to me or to third parties, contains no analytics or advertising tools and needs no account.

Only settings are stored on your Mac, for example theme, language, favorites, keyboard shortcuts, assigned programs and window size. To show folders, the app reads the names and properties of the files in the folders you open. This information stays on your device. For protected folders (for example Desktop, Documents, Downloads) macOS asks for your permission; optionally you can give DuoCommander “Full Disk Access” in System Settings.

3. This website

When you visit this site, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data in server log files (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system details). 4. Contact by email

If you write to me, I process your details (email address, content of the message) only to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. I delete the data once the request is dealt with and no legal retention duties apply.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection.
